"Giant" Group of Bikers at around noon at Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway

While driving over to the Island around Noon yesterday 30/11/2011, there was this big group of bikers crossing the bridge, (occupying around 1/2 a lane), when approaching Tesco (after the bridge) along Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Highway, these biker join a massive group of bikers already there.

This Massive group was blocking the approach road to Tesco, the slip road out, as well as the emergency lane.

I was wondering what this big assembly of bikers is there for (at that time). When reading the news today I heard that there was a demonstration at Komtar. Now I am wondering if this giant group of bikers has anything to do with this demonstration.
