I finally have the chance to head over to Langkawi, on a semi work and photography trip. While I have been there a few time, and even have work in one of the Hotels there way back in the late 80, it has been a few years since I was here last.
We will be there for 6 days, and will be visiting a few hotels and some tourist sites in our (limited) free time.
I am heading over by ferry from Penang to Langkawi, as stated in the ticket we have to check in 30 min earlier (7.45am) as the boat departs at 8.15am (this boat goes to Langkawi via Pulau Payar)
I arrive early and have to wait at the Plain waiting room at the Pier (which is near Fort Corvallis and the Clock Tower), At 7.50pm we were call to board, (no proper announcement) and line up for ticket check, we have to walk for around 100 plus meters to the place where we have to wait in line to get our seat number ( It’s a long walk, and I did advice for those coming on the trip to pay the porters if you have heavy luggage), then only you walk down to the ferry.
