Tosai, an Indian crepe bread which look and is cook like a pancake it is made from rice and lentils, and usually eaten with curry and chutney, Not a common dish in Malaysia, and a good one is rare.
In Nibong Tebal, Seberang Prai Selatan, at the Railway station, there is one of the best tosai I have ever encountered. For Just RM8, we had 5 tosai, with fish curry, with a Horlicks and a Teh Oh Ice, That is value for money, and to make it better, the tosai is dammmmm good, nice and fluffy.
I was introduce to this location some 2 years back when I started to work at my current work place, and I was totally blown away by the tosai, and have brought many friend here as well for breakfast, That right, its only open for breakfast and early lunch. So don’t come so late.
One of the best thing about the tosai here is the Fish curry, like nothing I have ever eaten, nice and crispy but in the curry, they serve a verity of chutney to go with it.
Another is the atmosphere of eating in an old wooden railway station waiting room, lobby and ticketing counter, all antique, not like the fake atmosphere you get at Victoria Station. See Photo Below. Now don’t wait too long before you visit this place as with the double trekking works going on, we don’t know if this place will still be here.

Finding this Location without GPS:
Along the Butterworth – Ipoh road, going south, just before you enter the Nibong Tebal Old Town, after passing the Jawi Toll along the way(North South Express way), and the Nibong Tebal Police Station, keep on the left when you come to the flyover and turn left and turn right immediately after it, in to the railway station.
