If you need just one show that tell the “Current” Malaysian Story from the view point and feeling of the Chinese Minority, this is the one.
It’s a stereotyping tongue in the cheek comedy, of a racist chauvinist person, a very admirable first time effort of this young local director (Taiwan trained) even with the handicap of a lower budget then normal for Local flim.
If all “local” films are of this quality and standard, The future of Malaysian Flim industry will be bright. My only wish is that the Director did not cast him self as the Main Actor, But then which local actor could have pull it off? And more importantly the Budget!
